Just a few images of the holidays we spent as "orphans."

This year, we went back to see my family for Thanksgiving, and we won't be here for Christmas. I didn't anticipate how tough it would be to leave Denver for the holidays, and how much this had become home. What an amazing family we've got here.

It's certainly a good thing to have a reminder of your blessings; we've got loved ones all over the continent. Every moment I have with any of them is precious. How peculiar that I should feel so fortunate to be torn, wanting to be in all those places at once. All part of the dizzying gravity of love.

I just wanted to thank you for the role you played in creating that.
